Federation Council committee allows govt to introduce emergency

MOSCOW, Mar 30 (PRIME) -- The committee for economic policies of the Federation Council, the parliament's supreme chamber, approved on Monday a bill allowing the government to introduce a state of emergency on the entire territory of Russia.

The bill will be considered by the Federation Council on Tuesday.

The bill allows the government to coordinate a united state system of prevention and liquidation of emergencies during certain events.
